This example shows dragable elements with no content; the whole icon can be grabbed with the mouse, or focussed with the keyboard to reposition it.

The icons are also links, but nobody keeps their mouse perfectly still while clicking a link, so to prevent any conflict you can specify a minimum threshold for movement - the amount by which the mouse has to move after clicking down, before a drag action is initiated. The threshold can be seen as a "stickiness" around the origin of each icon.

This demo also has quite slow animation, just because it looks nice.
