Reference

This part of the site is for publishing random bits of information, analysis and other commentary, including original articles and experiments. As time has gone by it's proven a useful place to publish idle rants that are too contentious, obscure or offensive to publish anywhere else!

It's also a place where I can talk about work in progress, or chew over unfinished projects that never quite made the the day. Tell the truth it's all pretty arbitrary, so maybe calling it Reference makes it all sound more coherent than it is! Whatever, it seemed like a good name at the time, and it's nicely all-encompassing.
